Jordan x Public School Collaboration Lookbook

Public School New York joins forces with the Jordan brand to bring forth a unique capsule collection of footwear and apparel. This collaboration between the rising fashion power and the established athletic giant is not the first of its kind. This time around, however,  the stakes are much higher.

Since being leaked on social media months ago, the PSNY 12’s have become the focal point of this collection. Despite garnering all the attention, one should know the 12’s are not the only footwear release of the collection, which will also feature an iteration aptly named the Air Jordan Horizon PSNY. The collection will additionally feature a few essential items for the winter to supplement the footwear. The clothing perfectly occupies the intersection of the two labels. Mixing performance elements with Public School’s signature athletic-inspired silhouettes, the collection employs technical fabrics to accentuated a futuristic sporty style. Though Public School continues to play in their comfort zone, PSNY x Jordan ought not to be seen as a mere diffusion off the runway. For instance, though we’ve already seen an anorak from PSNY on the runway just this season, its iteration for this collection is much more different — much more Jordan. The Jumpman logo aside, the detail stitching in front invokes the iconic stitching on the uppers of the 12’s. Without a doubt, the collection is ‘Jordan’ as much as it is ‘Public School’.
