New York City-based label Robert Geller helped debut the newly established Men’s Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2016 collection.  For the season, Geller pays homage to the windy summers of his upbringing by the North Sea. The collection sources inspiration from the water, wind, and billowing sails, but don’t expect simple navy stripes from Geller. Geller’s S/S ’16  collection saw silhouettes with an emphasis on movement crafted from worn-in washed fabrics that imitated alterations made by the sun and salt water. In typical Rober Geller fashion, the wet haired male cast was heavily layered. Lightweight silks and linen’s were monochromatically paired and accented with texture in the form of sailor’s rope  or wool caps.
