In the second offering of our ‘Staff Picks’ series, RSVP Gallery’s Creative Director Zach Coffman gives us a unique insight into his favorite items around the shop. Coffman has been a member of the team since 2011 and has had his hand in a number of iconic designs and collaborations over the years. Check out his picks below.

Readymade Duffle: This is an ill new brand. I really dig their craftiness and use of premium materials. I especially like that some of their items even come with stuffed animals 🐸💩⛺️

Bape Belt: This is pure nostalgia from the golden age of Bape. I might have to do this with a Louis belt, or better yet the Swarovski jawn with a Gucci belt. I’ve got some hunting to do… 💎🐒🚿📝

Just Don Hat: Don makes the go-to snakeskin cap. The buck-fifty. You can’t go wrong, natural or dyed. I have an affinity for the Larry Legend green brim special since I’m from Indiana 🐍🏀🎮

RSVP Gallery Crystal Ball T-Shirt: Easily my favorite tee from our most recent collection 🔮✨🔋

Astro Boy: If only I had invested in Apple stock back in the 80’s… 😓😭😲

A portion of the picks are available online, while the rest can be found in-store at RSVP Gallery. For more information email please@rsvpgallery.com or call +1(773) 770-6666 for phone orders.

Despite BAPE being in existence for more than two decades, each seasonal drop is proof that BAPE stays true to its DNA. Renouncing trends, particularly this era’s affinity for minimalism, BAPE continues to deliver the bright and bold patterns we all know and love. This time around, get your dose of the iconic 1st Camo pattern on an insulated varsity bomber jacket or the Ape Head graphic on a classic coach jacket silhouette. If accessories are more of your thing, BAPE delivers with their BAPE Sta rendition of a hunter beanie and a mix-and-match patterned cap. Pieces like the large logo belt buckle prove that when it comes to BAPE, the label transcends both time and trends.

The word “streetwear” is always up for discussion and in recent times “elevated” has been prefixed to the style of clothing. While the label modification can be a brand’s easy way out of the pigeonhole, actions speak louder than words and in this case “labels.” Elevated streetwear holds on to the styling cues from the once underground genre and reinterprets them with elements once only known to traditional high-fashion. Whether in the quality of materials or the ideas being executed through the product, the successful intersection of these two styles of fashion can best be seen from Fear of God, OFF—White, and pioneering label of “streetwear” itself, BAPE. After all, who could say “no” to quality clothing with the comfort level ideal for a run to your nearest bodega? New York’s London Zhiloh didn’t as she led the RSVP team around the Big Apple.

A sea of people rushed to Lollapalooza Music Festival in our hometown Chicago this weekend, but only a handful mastered the art of keeping their cool through the 3-day party that is the fest. No easy feat, considering the city’s sporadic weather, mud fields, and crowds of sweaty, intoxicated Millennials. Full of hope, we made our way through the fields of Chicago’s Grant Park, and to our surprise found gems of the Rick Owens and Fear of God variety.
