We’d be hard-hit if our newest brand Midnight Studios wasn’t already on your radar. The Los Angeles-based label has been buzzing since its 2014 inception and has already earned co-signs from a few of our favorite creatives (Theophilus London and Wiz Khalifa to name a couple). The brand’s third collection entitled “Something Else” takes easy silhouettes and transforms them into statement pieces with just the right details. T-shirts are crafted from quality slubbed-cotton, broody graphics are effectively placed throughout, and even the classic flannel earns visual appeal with decorative straps. Considering the label’s designer Shane Gonzales clocks in at twenty years of age, this nonconformist collection can be best described as for the youth by the youth.

Our latest addition to our roster of brands is London-based fashion house Christopher Kane. Christopher Kane has been heralded as one of the brightest new talents in the design world since his eponymous label’s debut in 2006. Kane’s menswear cult following is centered around his fresh take on fashion and his ability to reimagine materials and prints. For the Spring/Summer ’15 season Christopher Kane draws graphic prints inspiration from flip books, with the pages print scattered throughout key pieces. The abstract graphics are paired with strong colors, particularly neon yellow, deep blue, and vivid red contrasted against black.

Usually, collections carry one single theme throughout, but we would never expect “normal” from the house of Givenchy. Instead, season after season Tisci gives us multiple trends to work with. A master at prints, this spring/summer Givenchy updates paisley and makes florals feel unexpected. Art aficionados can enjoy a reworked graphic of Michelangelo’s “David,” while the audacious can sport a “censored” pin-up model.  For fans of the classics, the house’s signature stripes and stars make a notable appearance. Together the prints, patterns, and graphics might seem furiously random, but leave it to Givenchy to make it work.

Season after season, ACNE sticks to their company vision: an Ambition to Create Novel Expression. Founder Jonny Johansson repeatedly finds a way to make wardrobe basics new again by infusing the simplest of pieces with an effortless Scandinavian cool. Our new season arrivals from the brand are no exception and include an updated version of the ‘Johna’ lounge separates, plus the ambiguous  ‘Slogan’ tops.

Consider us stocking women’s clothing a very rare occurrence, but after seeing Love Leather on some of our favorite ladies (Rihanna, Vashtie, Teyana Taylor), we couldn’t pass it up. Love Leather is the New York-based brainchild of co-creators Kim Schraub and Natalia Kalb. The label is known for bold and irreverent silhouettes, all crafted from premium leather. On their latest collection, the brand has teamed up with the NBA to craft leather mesh jerseys for major basketball teams. Courtside or not, Love Leather is the perfect assist to a winning outfit.

We are pleased to welcome major French label KRISVANASSCHE to our roster of brands. The eponymous label was established in 2005 by Belgium-born designer Kris Van Assche, following years of experience at Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Homme. Over the seasons, KRISVANASSCHE has redefined menswear by combining clean tailored cuts with the ruggedness of workwear.

For the A/W ’14 collection, Van Assche looked to American conceptual artist John Baldessari for inspiration. Baldessari is mostly known for his collage work featuring out-of-context black and white photography alongside curated text and pops of color. Baldessari’s influence can best be seen in the details and accents of KVA’s modern silhouettes.

In the world of fashion it is easy to get lost in current trends, but designer Alexander Wang is a true believer of the everyday uniform, a belief minimalist enthusiasts can agree with. T by Alexander Wang, Wang’s diffusion line, is a collection of timeless basics that stand apart with a focus on street-style ready silhouettes and a generally dark palette. This season’s T offerings include comfortable go-to tees of the cotton, silk, and linen variety in either long sleeve or short sleeve form, while bolder options include denim with leather accents and neoprene separates. One thing is for certain–Wang’s effortless blend of the luxurious and casual has changed the fashion industry positively for the better and comfortable.
