A year has passed since their last collaboration, but this weekend, the luxury sportswear label Just Don partners with Jordan Brand once again to deliver the next variation of the Just Don x Air Jordan II in a ‘Beach’ colorway.

Symbolizing Just Don’s ultimate goal of bridging the gap between sportswear and high fashion, the Just Don x Air Jordan II ‘Beach’, inspired by the traditional dress shoe, features a premium quilted veg-tan leather upper intended to age gracefully with wear.

The sneakers will release as a part of a bundle package, accompanied by a timeless leather baseball cap. Designed by Don C himself, the hat employs the same veg-tan leather of the sneakers for its brim, giving it a luxurious feel equal to its complement.

The collaboration will be released this Saturday (1/30) in-store. Every $40 spent on Just Don or RSVP Gallery products NOW through Friday, (1/29) @ 7PM admits you one ticket for an opportunity to win a pair for free! Winner will be contacted via phone on Saturday, (1/30). IN-STORE ONLY! No phone entries will be accepted.

Sneaker Shopping With Don C.

Don C, the man behind the luxury sportswear label Just Don, made his name through his line of python-brimmed hats, the success of which has provided him the opportunity for collaboration with Jordan Brand on multiple sneakers. The latest project connecting Don C and Jordan Brand is the Don C x Air Jordan 2 “Beach”, set to launch as a package bundled with a Just Don cap. To find out what Don has been up to, we caught up with him for another episode of Sneaker Shopping with Joe La Puma. Don and Joe connected at RIF in Los Angeles to discuss their personal favorites, reminisce about the M.J.’s glory days, and consider the impact of signature sneakers on today’s youth. Watch the episode above and get ready for the latest Just Don x Air Jordans to release on January 30. Via Complex

Luxury sportswear label Just Don has had a history of pop-up installations since its conception, opening momentary retail spaces during All-Star games, Super Bowl weekends, and even abroad in cities like Paris. Despite the temporary nature of these retail spaces, the installations are in no way lesser than a permanent shop, stocking the same quality goods in equal quantities. Continuing in the pop-up tradition, Just Don teamed up with long time partner Mitchell & Ness again in Los Angeles for yet another event.

The pop-up installation is a shop dedicated to the city. Familiar sights greet the entering visitors: iconic snakeskin brimmed hats donning Lakers, Clippers, and Kings logos fill the redecorated hardwood walls. Additionally, Mitchell & Ness jerseys of L.A. teams can be found on display, alongside authentic Just Don remixed shorts. Calling the installation a retail space is a gross understatement. The event is a celebration of the city’s history of dominance in professional sports, a temporary monument dedicated to L.A.’s unique sporting history and beloved franchises. The installation will run every day for the remainder of 2015 on 112 S. La Brea Ave. (except the 25th and 31st) from 12-6 PM so be sure to visit before it’s too late!

Sneaker Con made a grand return to Chicago last weekend as they set up shop in one of the city’s biggest convention centers. Even with the venue’s size, the event saw a continuous sea of people packed together buying, selling, and generally admiring one rare pair or the other. The folks over at Sneaker Con brought “Sneaker Legends” Jordan 3 Doernbecher designer Cole Johanson and Just★Don Jordan 2 designer (our very own) Don C. Despite the limited availability of the Jordan x Just★Don shoe, Don C. was able to sign a number his shoes throughout the day. The event has self-proclaimed themselves as “the greatest sneaker show on earth” and while boastful our recap proves they might be right.

After hours of waiting in line and even days for some, the doors to the Just ★ Don Sports Gallery opened for fans to purchase the much anticipated Just ★ Don x Air Jordans II. Don C himself kicked off the shoe release event by raffling away three pairs of his blue quilted rendition of the iconic Jordans. After attendees secured their pair of shoes, they were able to enjoy the pop-up sports lounge, ping-pong table and basketball court included. While the event was a once in a lifetime experience, get a look inside the doors of the sports gallery with our release day recap.

JUST★DON® for RSVP Gallery

In Egyptian history, the snake occupied a primary role with the Nile cobra adorning the crown of the pharaoh. In current history, a Just Don hat occupies a primary role in culture providing the perfect reinvention of the Mitchell & Ness cap by adding an edgy element: snakeskin.
