Neon and Nonsense Episode 15: Saint Pablo Tour, NYFW, and more

The latest edition of Neon and Nonsense™ is packed with everything the RSVP Gallery team has been up to over the past month. We traveled to the opening night of Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour, North Coast Music Festival for some of our favorite performers, and New York Fashion Week to see the latest newest seasons. Per usual, Kanye failed to disappoint, as he unveiled his floating, Transformer-like stage with a constant mosh pit underneath. We caught some of our favorite acts at North Coast, including a surprise appearance from Chicago’s own Vic Mensa. At New York Fashion Week we were front row for Alexander Wang, where he unveiled his new collaboration with Adidas, as well as Yeezy Season 4, and Travi$ Scott’s pop-up at Bape New York.

Neon and Nonsense Episode 13

It’s festival season, which means Neon and Nonsense is going to be busy. We kicked off the season with a trip to one of Virgil Abloh’s Flat White happenings, right here in Chicago. His hometown came through and packed the house, draped in Off-White, to show love to the Chicago native. Just three days later, we linked with Schoolboy Q for his Blank Face Pitstop, check out the full recap of that here.

This past weekend provided a plethora of shows and began with a high-energy performance from Madeintyo, Famous Dex, and Ugly God. The energy carried into Pitchfork, which featured a strong cast including Blood Orange, whose newest album Freetown Sound has received outpouring love from fans. Anderson Paak, who made the cut on XXL’s freshman 15, came with insane charisma as the crowd matched him throughout the night. The final day proved legendary, as Jeremih brought out fellow Chicagoan Chance the Rapper for a brief stint. FKA Twigs closed the festival with a legendary performance that was a perfect blending of music and high-performance art. Check out the video above and the photos below for more gems and stay tuned for Neon and Nonsense to come.

Neon and Nonsense: Episode 11

Neon and Nonsense has been busy. For the 11th installment, we traveled to Florence, Italy, Tampa, Los Angeles, and the rainforest. Right at home in Chicago we were blessed with the presence of Young Thug and Lil Yachty, along with the rest of their associates at RSVP Gallery. In Italy, we headed to the legendary Pitti Uomo showcase to get an inside look at the newest collections from Raf Simons and Gosha Rubchinskiy. In LA we took to Tyler, the Creator’s extravagant Golf fashion show. While down in Tampa, we partied with YesJulz, as she brought out Robb Bank$ and Playboi Carti to join the festivities.

Watch the episode above for a full dose of the Nonsense™ and stay tuned for more rare footage. If you haven’t already, check out episode 10 when we tackled Tokyo.

Neon & Nonsense: Episode 9

This time around, Neon & Nonsense heads across the Atlantic for an intimate glimpse of the menswear collections at Paris Fashion Week. With looks from current favorites like Off-White and Pigalle to styles by established giants like Raf Simons and Haider Ackermann, our cameras take those of us who weren’t lucky enough to secure a personal invitation to one of the most exciting weeks of the year. Meanwhile, back here in Chicago, the team kept themselves busy with the release of our new Crystal Ball T-shirt and our efforts to find new innovative ways of conducting photo shoots.
