This post might be finding you in the dog days of summer, but bear with me: Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean that you should forget about jackets. I’m talking layers my guy, like an onion. The first step, ditch the wool and heavy fabrics from winter and exchange them for lightweight fabrics with breathability, like cotton and nylon. Also, keep an eye out for technical fabrics that are water-resistant and ready for summer storms to strike. For days when rain isn’t in the forecast, it never hurts to have a jacket handy for notoriously cool summer nights. We put together an assortment of our favorite jackets, ready for the summer and whatever it has in store.

Fear of God Fourth Collection Bombers: Lightweight bomber jackets with tons of versatility. It can be worn a variety of ways and features added volume in the chest and arms for better breathability and an oversized look. The silk lining gives the jacket the ultra-luxurious feel we’ve come to expect from Jerry Lorenzo.

Christopher Kane Reflective Bomber: This one is the perfect statement piece, ready for any day, no matter the weather. Ultra-lightweight technical water-resistant shell and a flash finish that is guaranteed to turn heads.

Raf Simons Hooded Parka: Raf parkas are some of the most coveted items in any rendition. This one features a light cotton twill with single-layer construction and is a perfect piece to throw on. Go ahead, nonchalantly rock the Raf.

Tim Coppens Mushroom Bomber: Coppens is relatively new to the scene, but he began his career designing activewear, so he knows about functionality and breathability. This bomber is no exception and it dons a dope Murakami-esque graphic on the back.

These jackets and more are available in store and online at RSVP Gallery. For more information or to place an order email [email protected] or cal (773) 770-6666.

Don C. knows what he is doing. His hats are at the pinnacle of sought-after headwear and his first drop of shorts are some of the rarest to date. You can scour the Internet for hours and come up with one pair, maybe. The first release featured NBA team colorways, including his hometown Chicago Bulls. If MJ had the option to sport these, the Bulls might have won 12 championships in his era.

Without the assist from Mitchell & Ness, Don returns with a single monochromatic red pair, that are a nod to his home team. Gold hardware on the drawstring tips and back zips return to give the shorts his signature ultra-luxurious look. Each pair comes embroidered with a large Just Don hit on the front, a small hit below the waistband in back, and 23’s stitched into each side. Don C. himself said that the shorts represent the grandiosity that should be on-court, combined with the functionality you need off the court.

The shorts are available in-store and online at RSVP Gallery. For more information email [email protected] or call (773) 770-6666

Bape has entrenched itself into history with its undeniably discernible camo colorways and graphics. Since 1993, the streetwear juggernaut has towered above its competition, creating some of the most iconic pieces in recent memory. The Shark hoodie and its slew of successors have been at the pinnacle, holding grail status since their introduction. Twenty-three years and counting, there is no sign of slowing down for the Japanese powerhouse.

RSVP Gallery took to the rainforest to capture Bape’s newest season in its element. With the continued motif of camo variations, it was necessary to get to the core of the brand’s identity. Our team hung out with the gorillas, crocodiles, and snakes while swathed in this season’s most covetable pieces. A fresh grip of classic shark hoodies, camo pants, swim shorts, and graphic tees are at the center of this season’s exhibition. With the debut of their newest ‘Tropical’ camo variation, Bape is back at it again in rare form.

The newest season is available in-store at RSVP Gallery with select pieces online. For more information email [email protected] or call (773) 770-6666.

Kanye West took to his twitter to make an abrupt announcement which simply read “TOUR.” This was followed by a link to his website which revealed his next showcase. In just three months, West will amass 32 shows in North America, kicking off in Indianapolis on August 25th. Ye will make appearances in 21 states, supplemented by two additional shows in Canada. Most notably, he will play back-to-back shows in Chicago on October 7th & 8th at the United Center and All-State Arena, respectively.

His last outing, the Yeezus tour, ended in 2014 and spanned 45 performances from October 2013 to September 2014. It received iconic status for West’s avant-garde performance approach and its success was only eclipsed by Paul McCartney’s ‘Out There!’ tour. Opening acts included the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Drake, A Tribe Called Quest, Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, and E-40.

No information has been released on the artists, if any, who will accompany West on the tour. Tickets go on sale June 18th and will be available through Live Nation. Check out the images above for a full list of dates.

If you have ever stopped by the Gallery, you’ve inevitably peeped into the glass case. Always filled with accessories, toys, and other necessities, we like to keep a constant rotation of essential goods on display. For this series, we head to the case and highlight the most coveted items available right now.

Just Don Keychain: By now, it’s well known that Don C. only uses the highest quality materials. He continues here with premium python leather and lambskin with logo embossed gold hardware.

Human Made Mug Set: Nigo enjoys his coffee; he opened his own café in 2014 and Human Made’s web store is titled ‘COLDCOFFEE.’ It only made sense that he collaborated with Pacific Furniture Service to created these stackable mugs.

RSVP Gallery Pin Set: Small enamel pins donning our debossed logo. An essential for anyone’s collection.

Alexander Wang Zip Wallet: A lowkey piece in premium bovine leather with Wang’s signature styling. Features two cardholders on the exterior, zip pouch, and rhodium stud details.

Bape Phone Case: Bape’s formula is tried and true. Simple clear plastic shell case with signature branding. Enough said.

APC & Robert Geller Bracelets: Wristwear goes beyond a nice watch. If you can’t quite afford the gold Rolly, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the luxury of nice accessories. APC and Robert Geller are known for their quality and there are no exceptions in these bracelets.

Gold Bape Belt: Recently featured in our Staff Picks series, this belt pays homage to the golden era of the brand.

mastermind Japan x Oakley Frogskins Sunglasses: This collaboration only makes sense; Oakley and mastermind Japan are known for their unrivaled quality. These shades come correct with mirrored lenses and mastermind Japan’s signature skull and crossbones details on the lenses and arms.

Bape x Medicom Metallic Gold Bearbrick: This year, Bape celebrated their 23rd anniversary. Few streetwear brands have experienced that type of longevity, and even fewer have come close to their success. To celebrate, they released this Bearbrick, which features the Ape Head logo on the front and the number 23 on the back.

RSVP Gallery Lighter: NOT FOR DRUGS.

Many of these items are available in-store or by phone order only. For more information email [email protected] or call (773) 770-6666.
