Charity Spotlight: Inner City Arts

Founded by Bob Bates and Irwin Jaegar in 1989, Inner City Arts serves downtown Los Angeles youth, providing a safe, inclusive creative environment. Partnering with local schools, the program has served over 200,000 children and more than 10,000 teachers since it’s inception.

 

Programs and curriculum at Inner City Arts include: visual arts, ceramics, music, dance, drama, digital photography, animation and more. In addition, Inner City Arts provides mental health and wellness services.
